October 2007: Custom Lures Unlimited lures reach the shelves of the Gander Mountain store in Mooresville, N.C. just minutes away from Lake Norman. In conjunction with local anglers, local area guides and pros, the patterns custom built and painted are geared specifically towards making the angler successful on the local waters of Norman, Wylie, and High Rock. April 28th, 2007
On April 28th, 2007, the Custom Lures Unlimited family took part in & contributed to the Angels Among Us Fundraiser on Duke University in support of the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center and for a member of our family.
More than 2,500 families and survivors took part in this years event on Duke's Campus. In the end, more than $1,063,000.00 was raised. For more info, go to http://www.angelsamongus.org/

April 2007- CLU's Future Home
The construction of a new workshop and studio for Custom Lures Unlimited is currently underway. The new building will be a 2 story structure. The bottom level will primarily serve as storage, while the upstairs will contain all lure crafting equipment, ventilation, paint booths, ect,... Once completed, it will allow CLU to expand both services and capacity. Keep in touch for updates on the buildings progress.

April 2007- The Return of the Haw River Humpback, 2007
Custom Lures Unlimited original, often copied, but never duplicated design, the Haw River Humpback is set to return to the CLU Next Generation Lures line-up in the very near future. Rebuilt, re-tooled and re-designed to meet the demands and needs of todays tournament anglers.
