With a tight, shad like wobble behind the blades and wake of a buzzbait blade, the Cape Fear Chopper is an enticing meal for any bass even thinking about a topwater attack.

The CF Chopper is unique in it's performance. Constructed of premium balsa and stainless components, it casts like a normal buzzbait, however it does not sink upon stopping the retrieve. Instead the lure sits nose down in the water, as the blades and beads slide forward on the stainless wire shaft. A quick twitch often elicits a strike as the blades reflect in the h20. Put the reel in motion and the Cape Fear Chopper is back on top and churning up the water's surface.

Perhaps the best feature of the Cape Fear Chopper is that it can be "driven". The lure's design offers up a hinged joint at the nose of the lure which allows the angler to steer the CF Chopper left, right or straight, in or around cover. This joint at the line tie also allows an angler to easily change lure bodies, blade and wire form on the water by way of the split ring. (extra buzz-wire forms & lure bodies are available as an option with any custom order)
